3/11/09 - Recovery workout

I've decided to begin running more and probably try out higher reps for a while....taking a break from heavy lifting is a good idea although I won't stay away for too long. It will also help me cut some more weight, I am looking to drop another 20lbs or so. I don't really have a time table set up for anything, just going by feel and/or boredom.

My workout last night looked like this:
a1) 2 handed KB swings: 35lb KB x 15, x15
1 handed KB swings: 35lb KBx6 each arm alternating and repeating without rest x2.
1 handed KB swings: 53lb KBx6 each arm alternating and repeating without rest x2.

a2) Back extensions 3x10

Running:
60sec jog
90sec walk
Repeat for total of 20 minutes (8 times)

Mini band front raises x10
Mini band lateral raise x10 each arm
Light band chest presses x10
Light band tricep pushdowns x15
Repeat for total of 3x
